DMC - Sparda's Seeds

I've been working on these guys for a few days now. It's another Devil May Cry drawing!!!!!!!

First, the techniques. I drew the characters separately, each of them being A3-sized, with my 0.5 2B mechanical pencil. I had never used this kind of technique before, blurring the graphite with my new soft paper-stick thingy (don't know its name). I liked the effect, maybe I'll use it on some older drawings I have.
So, in the beginning, I was only going to draw the twins, that's why the shading is kinda random. Only when I drew daddy Sparda I realised that each half of the amulet would influence the shadows cast on the brothers, but that was too late. So I added a shadowy layer behind them, to sort of isolate them from Sparda's figure.

I used a low-def snapshot of Temen-Ni-Gru (from DMC3) for the background. I know it sUuuUUUUks but I was never good at that (and my PS skills are terrible). So suggestions would be appreciated.

Monochomatic for now, but if I get my hands on a tablet I'll definitely try colouring this one!

On to the characters.
Sparda (the guy on top, in case you're wondering):
OMG!! I DREW SPARDA'S MONOCLE!! It cracks me everytime
The first time I seriously drew this guy. The rest are doodles. His coat was so much fun to do and I just made up the patterns, I am way too lazy to look for references. His collar is unfastened (as seen in "The Sacred Heart" book) and the amulet's halves are floating over his hands (he's NOT juggling 2 fried eggs, as I've been asked before...)

Dante (the guy with the gun):
I really like the way he came out. He was the first I did so I was affraid it would be otherwise. Used the games' boxes for reference.

Vergil (the guy with the katana):
The one (drawing) I like the least. He looks kinda psychotic. And his right hand kinda sucks. Used the statue for reference.


Sorry for the watermarks but I guess this is prone to being stolen. Kinda.

I'm not really sure this is in the right category, I hope so. The biggest part was hand-made, so I think it's still traditional art.
